As an energy efficient family, we’re very focused on how much water and energy we consume, so we spend a lot of time research dishwashers to find something that would work well for us, and save energy and money in the long run. The Whirlpool Tall Tub Dishwasher (WDF530PAYW) was definitely the answer. Its sleek white finish also went perfectly in our new home and kitchen.

Right off the bat we noticed that the Whirlpool uses only about 2/3 the water of the dishwasher at our old apartment. Even with that little water use, it still gets our dishes more than clean and saves us a few dollars every month.

Best feature by far of the dishwasher when it comes to dishes is the AnyWhere Plus Silverware Basket. We bought the Tall Tub dishwasher, because most of our dishes are quite large. If the silverware gets in the way of something we can place the silverware basket in the bottom rack, on the front of the rack, or use it in the door for total rack space on both the upper and lower racks! The baskets simple to move even with this feature, so there’s no loss in the ability to pull out Whirlpool’s silverware rack for unloading.

With the amount of cooking that we do, there’s a lot tough, baked on goodies that we have to deal with on a regular basis. The ‘Overnight Cycle’ of Whirlpool’s Tall Tub was the first one of its kind that we found. It actually soaks the dishes with a prewash, followed by a heavy wash cycle. It totals about 7 hours, so you run it overnight, but you don’t really hear the dishwasher running and they say it uses the same amount of energy as the other wash cycle.

If we need dishes in a hurry, there’s a 1-Hour was cycle that gets through our regularly used dishes and glasses. We noticed that this and the Eco Wash cycle are both extremely efficient in cleaning our dishes and saving some energy while at it. Again, we’re very energy efficient and eco-friendly, so the more performance we get out of something, the better. There’s a normal and heavy cycle to use as well on the Whirlpool Tall Tub.

Our previous dishwasher in our old apartment used Heated drying, which we noticed added $2-$3 a month on our electric bill. We’ve never heard of the Eco Dry option on a Whirlpool dishwasher until now, but it’s certainly fast and our initial impression is that this energy efficient dishwasher is truly energy efficient.

Finally, the delayed start on the dishwasher is certainly a useful option. Though the Whirlpool is extremely quiet, our new house isn’t well laid out right now for power, so we can’t run several appliances at once. We turn on the delayed start by 2, 4, or 8 hours and we can run the dishwasher when we’re done with everything in the kitchen, or while we’re sleeping and not running any other appliances.

My wife and I purchased the Samsung 24 DMT400 Stainless Steel Built in Dishwasher (DMT400RHS) about 3 months ago and are extremely satisfied so far. From the quiet water pump to the twister nozzle system, we’ve had no problems with the Samsung DMT400.

We replaced our old dishwasher due to leakage from inside the where the dishwasher was built in. The Samsung 24 actually has a Digital Leakage Sensor which shuts of the electricity to the dishwasher. This would have been great feature to have on our previous dishwasher, which cost us hundreds of dollars in repairs to our kitchen.

Our previous dishwasher had one rotating jet on the bottom of the dishwasher, however the Samsung actually has three; one on the bottom, one on the top and one in the middle, and we’ve noticed that this gets our dishes a lot cleaner than we’re used to.

We’ve never had a filtration system within our dishwasher before and it makes all the difference when it comes to water stains on our glassware. Combine that with the stainless steel tub and our glasses really come out clean.

There are separate cycles for our pots & pans, our delicate china and wine glasses, and a normal cycle for our usual washing. This was our main purpose to purchasing the Samsung DMT400. We needed something that could handle heavy cooking as well as dinner events with our family. The added food disposer of the Samsung works very well when it comes to the caked on food that comes off of our dishes.

The Twister Nozzle has really been a pleasant surprise from the DMT400 dishwasher. Rather than usual jets, it looks like the nozzles actually twist the water out in a ‘tornado’ like motion which does appear to make a huge difference when cleaning our dishes. It does a much better job of cleaning our dishes with ease, rather than having to pre-soak our pots and pans every time we run a load in the dishwasher.

The Samsung has got a lopsided-shaped upper rack for our glasses, with room for shorter glasses and mugs on the left and taller wine glasses on the right. Additionally, the top rack is adjustable, so if we have all taller glasses that need to be washed it’s not a problem. This also makes it easier to fit in some taller items on the bottom rack as well. It’s a simple feature to the dishwasher, but it’s made washing some of our larger skillets and baking pans much easier than it was in the past.

This dishwasher is super quiet. Quieter than any dishwasher we’ve previously owned. During our research, we discovered that Samsung dishwashers had very low noise ratings, but we’re overly impressed at just how quiet this dishwasher is.

For the money, you can’t beat the Samsung DMT400. At a lower price than most Bosch or Whirlpool dishwashers, it’s got a lot of the same great features and it’s definitely a valuable buy. Installation was simple and stainless steel exterior looks great in our kitchen.

With a smaller house to live in, we don’t quite have the space for a large dishwasher, so we chose the Bosch 500 Series 24” dishwasher when we replaced our old Maytag. We needed a dishwasher that had lots flexibility in wash modes, was quiet and was energy efficient. Thus far, we’re extremely pleased with our decision to go with the Bosch Evolution 500 Series Dishwasher (SHE55M12UC).

The rack system is very efficient and seems to hold a lot of dishes for a little space. We’ve been able to comfortably place more than a dozen place settings in this dishwasher. We host several dinners a month with quite a few people, so we’re very impressed with the amount of dishes the Bosch 500 Series dishwasher can handle.

The delay start option on the Bosch Evolution is very beneficial to our forgetfulness. We don’t like to run the dishwasher while our friends and family are in the house, however with the old dishwasher, we’d forget to run it after everyone left, leaving food to cake onto the dishes. Now we can use the Bosch delay start and set it to start a couple of hours from the time we load it. We haven’t forgotten to start the dishwasher since.

The adjustable upper rack makes it easy to fit larger items into the dishwasher, and the additional accessory basket holds several items including Cuisinart accessories and such that would normally be tough to find a place for. The racks also make the dishwasher very easy to unload with handles on both sides. We can easily pull out the Bosch Evolution dishwasher racks if we have to instead of walking from one side of the kitchen to the other.

The 5 different wash cycles of the Bosch 500 series are excellent for different types of dishes. There’s a delicate mode for my fine china and wine glasses, a power scrub mode for our pans that usually have caked on food, as well as regular and quick wash options if I’m in a hurry. There’s also a half load option, which I’ve used several times for smaller loads, or if it’s just my family eating dinner and I don’t want to leave dirty dishes in the dishwasher.

The OptiDry feature of Bosch has given me spotless drying every time so far. I especially notice this on my wine glasses. I used to be so paranoid about opening the dishwasher and finding water stains all over my glassware, but the Bosch Evolution 500 Series has been very successful in relieving my paranoia. I know it’s a small feature, but really enjoy knowing how much time is left on my current dishwasher load. There’s an LED display used with the controls that tells you how much time is left for each wash, and I now know how long it’s going to actually take the dishes to clean before I start a new load of dishes.

As we expected, the Bosch Evolution 500 Series dishwasher is extremely quiet, even in power scrub plus mode. There’s literally no vibration, and sometimes we almost need to check if it’s running.

My household has always been fans of Kenmore appliances, and it’s no different when it comes to our dishwashers. So when we were shopping for a dishwasher, we read up on several and came back to the Kenmore Elite dishwasher (13962). The sleek design goes perfectly with the rest of our kitchen. Though it is available in black and bisque colors, we went with the white finish. We’ve had it for some time now so I figured it was time to write a review on our thoughts so far.

This Elite dishwasher is extremely quiet. We live in a very tight neighborhood, where houses are butted up against each other, so running appliances at night isn’t always an option. Now we can run our dishwasher whenever we want. You can barely hear the dishwasher while it’s running.
For the price, the Kenmore Elite is full of features. It’s got a stainless steel tub, which makes the drying of dishes go much faster than our previous Kenmore. Originally, it was quicker to just open the dishwasher to allow our dishes to dry. Now the tub actually makes drying a faster process when the dishwasher is locked shut.

The adjustable racks on the Kenmore Elite make placing our larger dishes into the dishwasher a snap. We weren’t originally able to fit our large strainer and soup pots into the dishwasher. With a few adjustments, the Kenmore Elite not only holds our large dishes but several others on the bottom rack, with plenty of room for glasses and such on the top rack.

We’ve never had rotating spray jets in a dishwasher before, and it makes all the difference with the Kenmore Elite dishwasher. The caked on food comes right off with this dishwasher and the soil sensor helps to get to the hard to reach places on our dishes. We used to have to soak our dishes in the sink for a while before placing them in the dishwasher. Kenmore has really come through and made doing the dishes a lot simpler than it was only a few years ago.

The hidden controls of the Kenmore Elite were an added feature for us, as we really look for energy efficiency and reliability when it comes to kitchen appliances, but I’ve got to say that the touch control placement is really sleek on this dishwasher.

My husband is a fan of energy efficiency and saving money definitely comes into play when we decide what new appliances to buy. He estimates that the Kenmore Elite will only cost about $24 a year to run, compared to closer to $48 on our previous Kenmore.

Finally, as parents of two young, mischievous children, we really appreciate the control lockout feature. Being able to “lock” the Kenmore Elite is something that we have taken a big liking to that we didn’t originally expect. Now the kids can’t accidentally bump the controls of the dishwasher if they are playing in the kitchen. We’re extremely satisfied with our purchase of the Kenmore Elite dishwasher and are continuously satisfied with Kenmore.

We recently bought the Maytag JetClean Plus (MDB8959AWW) to replace our old dishwaher. Our inspiration to purchase this dishwasher was the SteamClean option, Silverware Blast and Maytag’s 10-year warranty. Cosmetically, we were quite impressed with the interior stainless steel tub, as well as the top placement of the dishwasher’s control panel. Installation was fairly simple, and easier to install than our previous dishwashwer, which is about 7 years old. Once installed, the sleek design of the front panel really comes to life than when looking at demo models of the dishwasher. After an easy installation, we’ve given it quite a few runs and we’re very pleased with the results of our JetClean Plus.

The Silverware Blast is superb on the JetClean Plus. Our household isn’t huge fans of pre-washing our silverware before sending it to the dishwasher, so it’s a big help with the stickier foods such as peanut butter and eggs. While our old dishwasher would often leave a sticky residue on silverware, the JetClean Plus left our silverware very clean.

The SteamClean option also plays a big role in cleaning dishes with harder to remove foods as well. We use the SteamClean feature when we’re washing dishes such as glass baking dishes and frying pans. The JetClean Plus completely removed some of the more stubborn, cooked in stains that were the result of baking things such as apple crisp, as well as some overcooked dinners we’ve recently encountered. The SteamClean actually got into tough to reach places, like the corners of our pans and bakeware that our old dishwasher would commonly miss. This feature alone has made the dishwasher more than worth it.

The adjustable upper rack was an added bonus that was something we didn’t appreciate until we had it. Before this dishwasher, we were forced to handwash larger pots and skillets that didn’t fit in our old dishwasher. With the JetClean’s adjustable rack, we were able to finally fit those annoying dishes into the dishwasher while still fitting glasses in on the upper rack.
Though we were skeptical before we purchased the JetClean Plus, we found that the interior tub’s design actually does help dishes dry faster. By our estimates, we figure this dishwasher has reduced drying time of our dishes by about half that of our old dishwasher. Water stains were a problem as well with our old dishwasher. I think that the quick drying actually helps to completely eliminate this problem, so that water droplets don’t get to “settle in” to your dishes. Our glasses are spotless.

As some added things that we’ve noticed, the Maytag JetClean Plus made minimal noise in our house compared to our old dishwasher, the controls were simple to use and as we understand it, the unit is very energy efficient. We’ll be looking forward to the money we can save with this dishwasher compared to our old one, but we’re very satisfied with the JetClean Plus as our choice of the dishwasher in our household. Maytag has certainly impressed us with this dishwasher.

Throughout decades, they have managed to establish themselves are a leading supplier of all kinds of electrical appliances. This is not limited to, but includes dishwashers. Simply have a browse through the major search engines and absorb the many positive Bosch dishwasher reviews and it will soon become apparent as to why so many people choose this brand over so many others.

Replacing a dishwasher is not ideal, but sometimes it has to be done. Of course, when buying a new appliance, it is important to pick the right one, so that it lasts for years to come. Bosch dishwasher reviews ensure that every consumer gets the product that they really need, instead of ending up spending thousands on something that is not particularly functional in terms of what they really need.

Bosch dishwasher reviews tend to be extremely good for many reasons. One of the many reasons is because throughout their product range, regardless of the price, they have a great range of HIGH quality products that stand the test of time. For instance, a consumer could go and buy a lower end product for $500, or they could go all out and spend $1500 or more on something like their SHX68E15UC. Regardless of the price, Bosch always managed to incorporate the right features and ensure that all their products are completely up to standard.

When looking at Bosch dishwasher reviews, it is worth taking the time to determine exactly what it is that you really need. For instance, some of their products will incorporate a four wash cycles. Alongside this, there are many other options, such as a half load option. This is something that is particularly important for people that regularly only fill half of their dishwasher capacity, as it will help them to save lots of cash over time.

Bosch dishwasher reviews may also focus on exactly how loud the dishwasher is going to be. This might not seem particularly important, but it really is. Many of the budget dishwashers are 56 dBa or higher. This might not mean anything, but for those that use their electric appliances at night time to save on bills, it means they will not be able to sleep. This is where reviews really help as they will explain how much difference a 40 dBa washer will be in comparison to a 50 dBa washer.

Remember, there are some features that are not needed, but manufacturers will fit anyway. For instance, many washers will have LED lights to show that washing is actually happening. This is particularly true of the lower decibel washers. That being said, you will still be able to hear them and as you have loaded it, you will know that it is washing anyway. This is a feature that is not only pointless, but will have been charged to the consumer.

So when it comes to Bosch dishwasher reviews, ensure that you compare price, the noise, but also all the features that are included. Extra features mean extra money and if the features are not really needed, then you are simply wasting money.
